The group is extremely active in monitoring worldwide issues and local affairs to identify issues which effectively work against the human rights, health, social and economic status of women and children.
In particular the group has a focus on Trade 
Justice and has been instrumental in
working to support the Borough attain
Fairtrade status, which was achieved this
year.
